Effective Immediately, California Teachers NOT Required to Pass the CBEST or CSET to Earn Credential

For some, this is a welcome relief, as many potential teachers have seen it as a barrier to a career they have been wanting to enter. For others, it may feel as if future teachers will be less qualified now.

We can all admit that sometimes tests are difficult. Sometimes they outright kick our butt. But these are future teachers! Won’t they be administering tests for our children? Won’t they be subjecting some sort of evaluation or standard on our students? Maybe you agree or maybe you disagree, but it’s here now, so stay knowledgeable.
